Twist is one of our newest additions to Wolf Hollow Ranch and is our first prospect to be more on the reining side of pedigrees. 

​

This little filly just 30 mins off the trailer was already showing off her natural stops and turns. Keep an eye on her as she joins our group of amazing fillies. She will begin her baby groundwork program with the hopes of attending 2023 Canadian Pinto Nationals and then once mature enough, will begin under saddle with an emphasis on APHA Ranch division classes and EXCA events (Extreme Cowboy Racing). Then will hopefully "retire" to our broodmare band when she is older after a show career. We are super excited to add Twist to our herd!

She has started our DSH Young Horse Development Program (foundational groundwork) as well as dipped her toes in to the beginnings of in hand show training and so far is proving to be very smart and trainable with just enough spice to be a wicked performance horse under saddle in the future! She catches on to tasks quite quickly, only taking about 3 minutes at liberty (no halter or lead) to figure out a tarp, and about the same amount of time on line in the arena to figure out the water box. She mastered all the different bridges in the span of a couple minutes as well on her 2nd trip ever to our arena. Twist is one to watch for in the future in our performance/show string!
