Kali is a 2021 AQHA roan filly with a superb pedigree of foundation Quarter Horses which shows through in her conformation and athletic ability. We purchased Kali unhandled, along with her older sister Athena, so she needs to go through halter breaking before starting with our groundwork program and then joining our Performance Horse program (on the ground) over the winter, with the goal of being under saddle in the spring.

In keeping with the goddess theme of names with her sister Athena, Kali is the Hindu goddess of Time and Change (and many other things, making her a versatile goddess). We hope Kali (the horse) shows the same versatility as her namesake.

We do not have a huge amount of information for Kali so far since she is unhandled, we haven't been able to dive in to work just yet. But in the short time she has been with us so far, she is already becoming friendly and waits at the fence for food.
