Athena is a 2020 AQHA roan filly with a superb pedigree of foundation Quarter Horses which shows through in her conformation and athletic ability. We purchased Athena unhandled so she needs to go through halter breaking before starting with our groundwork program and then joining our Performance Horse program under saddle over the winter. 

​

Athena was named after the Greek Goddess of wisdom, handicraft and warfare. We figured a fancy filly like her deserved a fancy name and we feel it fits her perfectly. There is a presence about her that we can't quite describe but it certainly grabs our attention. 

​

We do not have a huge amount of information for Athena so far since she is unhandled, we haven't been able to dive in to work just yet. But in the short time she has been with us so far, she is already becoming friendly and waits at the fence for food. 

​

Currently, Athena is NOT for sale and will likely be retained for our show string and broodmare band so long as her temperament and trainability is where we want it for our program. We have little doubt that she will meet our expectations. We have worked with others of similar bloodlines and they have all been fantastic.
